Our Bamboo Toy Box is made entirely of bamboo
(aside from the hardware). No MDF or particle board.
Solid wood is used for the corner posts. Bamboo is
harder than maple and extremely durable. Most
importantly, it's eco-friendly!
The letters of this classic
bamboo toy box are laser engraved into the wood in
the thematic alphabet font for a beautiful effect .
The resolution of our laser is 300 DPI (dots per
inch) which is the same detail as a magazine photo,
resulting in stunning quality!
There are two lid
supports which are positioned in the center of the
toy box. The toy box lid does not slam down when
lifted up. Whatever the lid position, it does NOT
drop. The hinges and lid supports have a lifetime
guarantee. If they break for any reason they will be
replaced at no charge.
We can add a solid cedar
tongue and groove boards base in the bottom of the toy box for
$40 (this replaces the standard bottom of the toy
box. The cedar we use is aromatic "eastern" cedar.
Cedar not only has a functional purpose but also
adds style to the classic toy box.
The outside
dimensions of the toybox are 40"L x 21" W x 20" H.
The inside dimensions are 36"L x 18 1/2"W x 17"H.
Assembly requires a regular and Phillips screwdriver
and only about 15 minutes of your time. We include
easy to read instructions with photos. This toy
chest is custom made -- please allow 3-4 weeks to
